Why Bay Area families choose a counselor who just went through it
Many Bay Area students apply to the UCs, Stanford and the same selective privates, from high schools with strong applicant pools. A counselor who applied recently knows the current Common App, the UC personal insight questions and what readers say they look for.
How it works
Pick a counselor by name, book a free video call at a time from their calendar, and leave knowing what the work would cover and the price. Meetings happen on video, so families anywhere in the Bay Area, or anywhere in the US, work the same way.
Questions families ask
- Do you meet in person in the Bay Area?
- Sessions are one-on-one video calls, which lets families in San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay and the East Bay work with any counselor on the roster.
- Do your counselors know the UC application?
- Most of our counselors are current UC Berkeley students who completed the UC application and personal insight questions themselves.
